I entered the US Army at the ripe age of 17. Over the next 20 year I was able to travel and see the world. I was fortunate enough to see Europe, Asia, Central and South America. Early in my career I was stationed in Germany. It was there I met this beautiful Puerto Rican princess. We dated in Europe and we were later married in Savannah, GA. While in Savannah I was assigned to the 1st Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment. After returning from deployment to the middle east for Desert Shield/Desert Storm I was reassigned to 3/325 Airborne Battalion Combat team in Vicenza. Italy. During my time in Vicenza we were deployed to Africa for the war in Rwanda in 1994. We also spent time in Africa in Botswana and in Morocco training foreign soldiers. As well as exercises in Turkey, Belgium, Germany, and Great Britain. For that last 4 years of my career I was assigned to the 3rd Brigade 82nd Airborne division.
My military career helped me to develop many skills and attributes that have helped me to become successful in my civilian life. I am proud to have served this great nation and would do it again if called upon.
